Diego Bernal- Besides debut

While I was in Seattle last Spring, I came across an Indy release

for free download on the same label as some of Prince Klassen's work.

Since chancing upon it, I've become an enthusiastic fan of

Diego Bernal.

I finally met him at a gig @ Limelight in San Antonio

& was humbled to find mutual respect & talent.

Check out the Antipop Records blog link here for Diego's full steez...

...I wish I could share his new LP "Besides"-- shit's brilliant.

And, per Diego's Facebook update today...

"Besides..." 7-inch vinyl and iTunes release party APRIL 29.

Luna On San Pedro. 8-12 PM. Jj Lopez.

Mexican Stepgrandfather ( Marco Antonio Cervantes).

The Party Favors!, and yours truly, fiddling with knobs and such.

Proper invite forthcoming."

DJ Protege's Remix Pack 10

Protege has been at the top of Austin's DJ scene for (beyond) years.

With former residencies at Barcelona, Aces & Firehouse Lounge,

& a fierce presence here and on the East Coast via Blue Room Music Group,

Jason Hernandez's self-produced remixes & mashups led him to a slew

of A-List residencies including Saturdays at Lucky Lounge & a guest spot

with The Rub in Brooklyn last spring.

SX Buddies Episode 3: Keys N Krates

Having been in Seattle last March I missed Keys N Krates

& had to spend all last year wondering what the buzz was about...

...after playing a boat party with them Wednesday, I'm officially a fan.

You should be too. Check their new release here for free.
